We are currently at anchor in Roche Harbor just off the shore of Henry Island. This is a very popular place this time of year and especially on the 4th of July weekend. There are lots of traditions here...at sunset, it is common practice for boaters to blow their horns simultaneously as the sun hits the horizon. This is followed promptly by a loudspeaker on shore that plays taps, America the beautiful and sometimes, more often on the weekend, O'Canada. I imagine after that, the most prevelant sound would be that of wine bottles being uncorked.
