August 9th- Today was a travel day. We left Eucott Inlet after breakfast and continued on our mission to circumnavigate King Island. The scenery was rugged and spectacular.
Several hours into the days travels we began to see pods of porpoise coming towards us and continuing on in the opposite direction. After 20 or so had passed us, a pod turned and began to travel with us, playing in our wake.
